This post has nothing to do with any original content, but instead is to point out a view on Plaxico Burress that I haven't heard elsewhere. It turns out that Tiki Barber may actually have something intelligent to contribute to the public discourse over Plaxico's fate.

Of course Barber couldn't name an instance where violence was avoided because a necessary characteristic of such incidents is that they never happen.
Three years for carrying a gun? That's frightening. I've got half a mind to start doing the same thing when I start my job on the South Side.
